Sloxia Studio is the unified visual authoring environment and AI compiler where
human engineers and autonomous agents design, verify, and evolve full-stack applications.
Studio does not execute code directly. Instead, it serves as the universal visual compiler
that translates developer design and AI synthesis into SIR (Sloxia Intermediate
Representation). By decoupling visual authoring from runtime infrastructure, Studio allows
teams to author full-stack applications once on a shared canvas and compile them deterministically to either
runtime target: Sloxia Enterprise (centralized cloud/VPC) or
Sloxia Protocol (institutional Web3).

Sloxia Studio
Shared Authoring Canvas for Human Engineers & AI Copilots
Current Scope (Enterprise-Only): Today, Sloxia Studio is configured exclusively for Sloxia Enterprise—supporting centralized B2B/B2C web applications, operational ERPs, Parse Server backend, and the /auth runtime. Sloxia Enterprise is currently housed within the Studio monorepo and will soon be extracted into its own dedicated standalone repository (sloxia-enterprise).
Near-Future Scope (Protocol Expansion): In the near future—as specified in sloxia-concept—Studio will also target Sloxia Protocol, enabling visual authoring, static verification, and direct on-chain deployment of Engrams as exploit-free smart contracts (deployFlowL1) onto Public Layer 1 and managing Sovereign Layer 3 AppChains.
Section 1
1. Symmetrical Human-AI Collaboration
Traditional Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) isolate human developers inside complex file trees,
while modern AI coding copilots generate probabilistic, unconstrained text that regularly breaks builds and
drifts from specifications.
Sloxia Studio bridges human intuition and machine speed through a
symmetrical, bi-directional visual canvas:
Symmetrical Visual CollaborationBi-Directional Human + AI Graph Synthesis
Deterministic Compiler AST Gate — Verified Before Execution
Shared Visual Representation: Both human engineers and AI models operate on the exact
same structured graph. When a human drags a node or updates a schema field, the underlying SIR updates
instantly. When an AI generates a workflow, it renders immediately as an inspectable, interactive visual
graph.
Elimination of Syntax Hallucinations: Because AI agents synthesize bounded JSON
structures conforming to SIR grammar, syntax errors, incompatible libraries, and hallucinated functions are
physically impossible.
Instant Visual Auditability: Developers never have to read through thousands of lines of
raw AI-generated boilerplate code. Workflows, data access rules, and interfaces are laid out visually—ready
to review, inspect, and approve in seconds.

2. Solving the AI Maintenance Bottleneck
The greatest crisis in AI-assisted software development is not creating initial code—it is
maintaining and evolving software as codebases expand.
When traditional codebases grow to hundreds of files, LLMs hit context window
boundaries. When prompted to refactor or add a feature, they lose track of global dependencies, break
distant modules, and introduce cascading regressions.
Sloxia Studio solves the maintenance crisis through graph
modularity:
Isolated Node Addressing: Because applications in Studio are authored as discrete, typed
graph nodes (Models, Engrams, UI components), AI agents never have to ingest an entire codebase into their
context window.
Surgical Schema Mutations: To add a feature or modify business logic, an AI agent targets
only the specific node or Subengram requiring alteration. The SIR compiler validates that the change adheres
to existing port contracts, preventing regressions across the rest of the application.
Zero Technical Debt Accumulation: Changes made over months or years remain strictly
compliant with the system's typed AST, preventing the code rot that typically plagues rapid AI iteration.

3. The Three Visual Workspaces
Sloxia Studio organizes full-stack application development into three synchronized visual
workspaces:

1. Model Modeler (Data Blueprint & Governance)
The Model Modeler is the visual schema designer for data
structures, relationships, and access controls:
ModelGraph AST Synthesis: Design business entities as first-class graph nodes (model::Collection) with strict typing: String, Number, Boolean, Date, Pointer, GeoPoint, Polygon, Array, and Object.
Visual Relational Topology: Establish One-to-One (1:1), One-to-Many (1:N), and
Many-to-Many (N:N) relations graphically. Relational fields compile directly into explicit graph edges (ModelEdge) with referential integrity.
In-Schema Access Control Lists (ACLs): Configure row-level and field-level
permissions directly inside the model visualizer. Define role-based read, write, update, and delete
policies without writing complex middleware.
Bring-Your-Own-Database Configurator: Connect entities directly to your preferred
database engine—whether PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, or custom enterprise data adapters.
2. Engram Flow Designer (Deterministic DAG Logic)
The Engram Flow Designer replaces procedural code with atomic,
visual Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs):
Typed Node-and-Wire Canvas: Build business logic by connecting discrete nodes. Every
node features explicit, typed input and output ports, preventing invalid data connections before
execution.
Isolated StateOverlay Execution: Logic executes within an in-memory StateOverlay write-behind cache. State mutations commit atomically only when the
entire flow succeeds, ensuring that runtime errors never leave databases in inconsistent states.
Composable Subengrams: Package complex business processes into nested, reusable
Subengram blocks, maintaining clean visual architecture across enterprise-scale systems.
38 Node Types & 42 Resolvers: Access a built-in library of 38 visual nodes and 42 execution resolvers across 7 functional categories (Flow Control, Math, String, Array, Object/JSON, Crypto, and ORM/Data).
3. Dynamic UI Canvas (Declarative Presentation)
The Dynamic UI Canvas enables rapid layout of responsive,
production-ready web and mobile interfaces:
36 Standard UI Components across 3 Tiers: Assemble screens from a comprehensive library of 36 responsive UI nodes organized across Views, Layouts, and Interactive Elements (UiTable, UiForm, UiInput, UiSelect, buttons, UiAsyncFlex).
3 Reactive State Realms: Connect UI inputs and display tables with zero manual glue code. State resolves across state (ephemeral UI), model (persisted entities), and engram (action bus).
Engram Action Bus: Attach user interactions (button clicks, form submits, table row
selections) directly to Engram entry points, completely eliminating custom API endpoints and boilerplate
glue code.
Section 4
4. Native AI Copilot via Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Sloxia Studio integrates deeply with external AI agents through the Model Context
Protocol (MCP) server (apps/sloxia-mcp):
Model Context Protocol (MCP) BridgeBi-Directional JSON-RPC 2.0
Live Schema Introspection: The MCP server exposes active Models, Engram node catalogs,
and UI component registries to AI agents. The AI always understands the exact state and structure of the
application.
Real-Time Collaborative Synthesis: When prompted with natural language requests (e.g.,
"Add a customer tier discount calculation and route orders over $5,000 to senior approval"), the AI
agent queries the live schema, synthesizes verified SIR nodes, and mounts them directly onto the Studio
canvas.
Strictly Bounded Output: Because the MCP interface validates all incoming mutations
against the official SIR compiler schema, the AI cannot generate invalid configurations, disconnected ports,
or hallucinated commands.

5. Visual Extensibility: Custom Nodes and UI Components
Sloxia Studio is designed as an open, extensible authoring platform. Teams are never limited
to default out-of-the-box components:
Custom Engram Node Palette
Engineers can write custom backend execution resolvers in TypeScript, Go, Rust,
or Python and register them directly into Studio's node palette:
Enterprise Integrations: Create custom nodes connecting internal ERPs, SAP,
Salesforce, Stripe, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or proprietary AI models.
Typed Port Contracts: Custom nodes declare explicit input and output schemas. Once
registered, they appear in Studio's visual palette with full type-checking and autocomplete support.
Custom UI Component Registry
Frontend teams can import custom Vue and web components directly into Studio:
Specialized Visualizers: Embed domain-specific widgets such as 3D CAD visualizers,
real-time financial trading charts, interactive GIS mapping layers, or hardware barcode scanners.
Enterprise Design Systems: Import existing Figma-aligned UI libraries and corporate
design systems, ensuring that every synthesized screen strictly complies with company branding.

6. The Compiler Advantage: Build Once, Deploy Anywhere
Once authored in Sloxia Studio, the entire application compiles to SIR, ready
to deploy to the infrastructure that matches your operational needs:
Sloxia Enterprise: Deploy standalone B2B SaaS platforms,
consumer B2C web apps, or internal operational tools onto your own cloud VPC (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on-premise
hardware with complete database freedom and zero crypto overhead.
Sloxia Protocol: Deploy Engrams directly as verified,
exploit-free smart contracts on our Public Layer 1 network, or launch dedicated, zero-gas Sovereign Layer 3
AppChains anchored back to L1.
